Well I guess the title says it all! I’m still migraine free!!!!! I see some of you all have been taking the same leap of faith.😃 I am so excited and overjoyed for your relief! Now this fight with fibromyalgia has been just that, A FIGHT! I’ve been dealing with flare ups as I am right at this moment 😐. The weather change and whatever else triggered this foolishness I’m feeling is putting a damper on my weekend…Ughh! The blessed part of this is that, I would, under past circumstances before my daith piercing, be fighting a HUGE migraine simultaneously while the feeling of sharp needles going through my joints and muscles or the feeling of hammers that seem to accurately tap, strike or hit my hip, elbow, ankle, knee, toe or finger joints while they are aching. Did I paint that picture!?😳😬… just a brief description of the type of pain that some Chronic Pain fighters are challenged with on frequent basis. To be done with the head pain makes this part of it so much better, believe it or not. So to keep from feeling this way all the time, I exercise, meditate on happy things, and laugh as often as possible! I encourage my family out there to do the same. Laughter is good like a medicine!!! Happiness has A LOT to do with healing! What we focus on has the ability to shape our lives. So I encourage you friends, to change your minds. Change what you’re focusing on and who’s in your space if necessary! Speak positive no matter how you feel. It really could be worse. Love! Love! Love! Give it and receive it😍😘! Seek peace and pursue it. Be careful what you allow in your space. It could be your next trigger for pain!
Love you guys!
I heard a friend say some years ago and I’ve held on to this example and analogy. Every cut is NOT to kill or injure you permanently. When surgery is being done, cutting is taking place to repair what is broken or dysfunctional. It’s a cut to HEAL. Well that’s how I view sharing my life stories. What works and doesn’t work for me is me revealing the cuts I had that needed surgery by God. Whether I had self inflicted cuts or was cut by others, I still needed to be repaired because I was broken in some way shape or form. It’s hard for leaders to admit pain or weakness from fear of being taken advantage of or viewed as lacking adequate strength. Well, I’m a leader, and people view me as very strong for some reason. That’s ok, but I am challenged just like everyone else. Had I allowed that view to stop me from sharing my testimonies dealing with migraines and fibromyalgia, I would not have gained a new family to stand with against chronic pain suffering. There’s strength in numbers! Pride can keep you from your blessings and rob others of their blessings as well. So I urge you friends, with all wisdom, share your stories and testimonies! None of us live for ourselves!!!!!
I pray for your strength, peace, comfort and Sweet RELIEF!
All is well!!! I’m still experiencing the joy of life without a migraine. This is so surreal some days. I even bumped my head the other day and that would usually, very easily, trigger head pain then the migraine. I’ve been getting my life back. My family is still checking everyday to see how I’m feeling. They are still overwhelmed too!!! Lol! They are smiling and laughing and that makes my heart happier than words can say. I’m experiencing a lot of joy here lately. Your testimonies of healing and how happy some of you are now gives me soooo much joy too. I never imagined sharing my daith piercing experience would become such a blessing to others. To my surprise, so many of you are finding hope and healing!🙌🏽 To God be All the Glory! A leap of Faith led to the healing I’ve been praying for! So I say to you, whatever your leap of Faith is, make sure you’ve prayed and you leap in without wavering. Faith and fear are antithetical. You never know how your leap will bless you along with someone else😊! Be encouraged family! Things are getting better!!!! Keep the faith!
Sending strength, Love and courage through prayer,
This is getting better and better! I’m getting pics and posts daily from some of you about your own personal leaps of faith!!!! 🙌🏽 I’m so excited and full of joy for you all🤗😃! I had a sweet lady write me to tell me she’s had her daith for six years and she’s been migraine free. She says she’ll get an occasional headache but nothing like the migraines she used to have. She described it as one of her best decisions! I’m believing that it will be one of mine and one of yours as well!!!! If you’re still in the fight remember you are NOT FORGOTTEN by any means! The daith piercing is not the only way! I’m sure we can continue to research together others sources of relief. Until then, listen to your body when it gives you triggers. My triggers for sure were foods with MSG in them, foods with too much salt or too much sugar, dehydration, cigarette smoke, waiting too late to eat, stress, hormonal issues, outside elements (smell of fresh cut grass, pollen, strong floral smells), just to name a few😳… My diet had to change tremendously. my associations and how I allowed people to affect me had to change, and my ability to say NO had to become existent. My husband and my family was very helpful with these challenges. So whatever you’re triggers are, listen to your spirit and body. They will tell you what’s going to cause a reaction. Friends I’m praying for you all, as I have since we connected😊…
